Mehgan & Eduardo got engaged on a Disney cruise, in the middle of the Caribbean on March 15, 2017.  At dinner one night the waiters distracted Mehgan and then she looked over to see a plate in front of her with dessert, Eddy on one knee, and on that plate was a ring box with the most beautiful diamond ring. Her eyes teared up and she didn’t even wait for him to say it (the plate did say “Will you marry me?”) and she said, “Are you serious?!?” Typical first answer of course. But then she said YES!!!! They “met” on June 25th, 2013 on Twitter. They became friends on Twitter through a common friendship and Eddy tweeted Mehgan telling her he was “sending me love & light to keep a smile on my face!!!” (She still have the screenshot of course). Well, that began a conversation, which led to the DM (Direct Message) and to the exchange of phone numbers. And thus began their love story. The restaurant was all applause and Eddy yelled out “She said yes!” in triumph. His family was all tears and happy faces. (Only his sister knew so it was a surprise for everyone!). It was truly one of the most beautiful moments of Mehgan’s life.

“The best part of planning the wedding was decorating and building my own beautiful day with my favorite theme. I am a big Twilight fan so having a Twilight themed wedding with my own creative twist was so much fun and satisfying to see once complete.”

Tear Jerking Story from their Wedding
“While giving our vows, my glasses kept sliding down my nose. He kept pushing them back up on my nose for me so I could see. 🙂 Everyone kept commenting on it all night.”

Funny Story from their Wedding
“We were so nervous being up in front of people that when it came time for the rings we forgot to hold opposite hands and he gave me his right hand so I tried to put the ring on the wrong hand! We laughed it off and almost lost track of the ceremony!”

The Story Behind their Favorite Wedding Photos
“The venue was chosen because the ceremony site backs up against beautiful pine trees. I wanted the wedding to have a Twilight feel and you just couldn’t get better than that! I told the photographer I wanted as many photos as possible in the trees and nature areas around the venue – he didn’t disappoint! The bottom of my dress got a little bit dirty climbing into tall grass a few times but it was worth it! 🙂“

They were experienced and had been at my venue before so they knew exactly where to go and the best places to photograph. Dmitriy was excellent at directing us in how to stand and especially for family photos to help us get through them quickly so everyone could get to the party! They walked around the reception getting the best photos. Everywhere we were they were and they caught every moment of our evening. It was the best investment of our wedding.”
