“Photography inspires me to constantly explore the depths of life through art. I express my curiosity and interest in humanity’s connection and emotion by capturing each individual’s unique energy. Every couple displays a magnificent equation of love and energy that exudes true beauty. My goal through photography is to capture exactly that.”
1. How did you get into the wedding photography business?
“I have a background in Photojournalism and did a lot of photography work abroad, especially doing environmental portraiture story telling. When I returned from living abroad after many years, one of my friends insisted I take her wedding photos. I fell in love with the experience of capturing such a special occasion and picked up a few weddings here and there. Before I knew it I had a portfolio built up and my business has been growing more each year.”
2. What do you enjoy about being a wedding photographer?
“I love meeting new people and getting to know how unique each individual and couple is. I enjoy the challenge of capturing something different from every wedding. There is so much energy and love invested into a weddings it is such a thrill for me to be a part of it and be able to tell a story.”
3. What keeps you creative/inspired?
“People and nature! I am constantly inspired by people each day and the diverse environments we live in.”
4. What is one thing you would like every bride & groom to know before the wedding?
“Get good sleep, slow down and embrace every moment of the event.”
5. How has witnessing so many weddings impacted your life/outlook?
“Weddings are beautiful, family and friends coming together to honor such a special life event shows true love. I feel absolutely honored to have been a witness and documentary artist to so many weddings.”
