Wedding of the Week: Katie & Chuck
Katie & Chuck
09.09.2017
Katie and Chuck met through Chuck’s cousin in the 9th grade. Chuck says that it was love at first sight and Katie agrees! They say that they are the true definition of highschool sweethearts!! 🙂
Katie and Chuck got engaged on New Year’s Eve! Chuck proposed in front of all of their family and friends. Katie told us, “I must say I was shocked but a silly part of it was seeing how nervous he was!”
Congrats to Katie and Chuck! 🙂
We got to ask the couple some questions about their special day and the planning that went into it!
Q: What were you inspired by while planning your wedding? (Theme, Color Combinations, Places?)
A: “I love love love coral and silver colors , we wanted a very elegant yet simple wedding.”Q: What were some of your favorite wedding day details/memories?
A: “Seeing all my beautiful bridesmaids & walking down the aisle to the love of my life! I can’t forget our amazing photographer who made my day so perfect!”
Q: Did you have any D.I.Y. (aka Do It Yourself) details?
A: “We had quite a few of these! We did a special table for Chuck’s grandfather who passed away and a very special framed invitation from one of my patients at work who sadly passed away (she was like a mom to me)!”Q: What advice would you give to future couples planning their wedding?
A: “Don’t let stress get to you! Take everything as it comes – at the end of the day your wedding flies by and you should embrace it all and take it all in. Don’t let the little things get to you!”Q: Is there anything else that you’d like to share about your big day?
A: “Our photographer Stephen M. was simply amazing! He helped with everything and anything all the way from sewing my dress & doing my bustle to making sure he got every shot possible!”
