Daniel spotted Taylor on Facebook and saw that they had a mutual friend. Their mutual friend got them to talk to each other and they agreed to meet in person at Starbucks! They clicked right away 🙂
The Proposal
December 10, 2016 was the day that Daniel proposed to Taylor. One of Taylor’s favorite winter activities is looking at Christmas lights and attempting to ice skate. Daniel took Taylor to the Blue Cross River Rink at Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia and they did just that! Ice skating was sold out until later in the night, so they got to walk around and looked at the lights and played some games. Daniel took her back to the car to warm up and they moved it so that it was facing the river. Daniel showed her a video that was set to their song, “All About Us” by He Is We. The video had a bunch of short clips and pictures of them from throughout the years. At the end of the video, the screen went black and Daniel asked Taylor to marry him! It was the most romantic moment and Taylor couldn’t hold back the tears! They celebrated the night with ice skating and many, many calls and texts to their families and friends sharing the news!

Favorite Wedding Memory
“It was amazing to see all of our hard work over the past year and a half come to life! Looking around the room and seeing everyone that we loved having a great time was so rewarding. Our centerpieces came out even better than we imagined. “
D.I.Y Details
“I bought our bird cage for our cards at a flea market and spray painted it white. Our entire centerpieces were mostly DIY. We cut the tulle and put the fairy lights in the jars. I bought the votive jars and picture frames plain and did the glitter on them myself as well.”

“Don’t rush! Try to enjoy every minute of the process because it’s over and done in the blink of an eye!”
