Tess and Kyle actually met online! They had their first date over beers and burgers and they were practically inseparable ever since!

The Proposal
Oh goodness, what a story they have! Kyle is the principal trumpet of the Fort Worth Symphony. Every year after Thanksgiving, Kyle together with his team on Fort Worth Symphony start their holiday concerts. Towards the end of the concert, Kyle came up to the front of the stage under the guise of doing a quick trumpet demonstration. Kyle said he needed an assistant though and invited Tess up on stage. He got down on one knee in front of the entire symphony and concert hall! There’s a video of it as well. It was such a special moment.

“There are so many! The day was so wonderful. But Kyle’s first look at me walking down the aisle keeps coming to mind. He had full on waterworks going! Also, just being able to have so many different groups of people from our lives all in one place was very special.”

D.I.Y. Details
“We had tons of DIY projects as we did just about everything ourselves. Definitely lots of Pinteresting. My mother and grandmother designed and made the centerpieces and other various decorations. “

& a Word of Advice…
“Use a day of coordinator, especially if you’re planning most, if not all, by yourself! It’s so worth the money for the relief you get from knowing someone else is taking care of everything the day of. Ours was so fabulous and helped us setup and breakdown. “
