Wedding of the Week: Laura & Christopher
Laura & Christopher
9-9-18
Laura & Christopher met in college, during a summer course. The teacher placed them in the same group project and they just bonded right away. They turned their summer romance into a steady relationship.
The Proposal
During the beginning of their relationship, they had gone camping to Aspen and hiked the Maroon Bells. They wanted to recreate that weekend, so they set out to do so. Chris offered to drive there, which she thought was a little odd because usually, he likes to sleep on long car rides, so she knew something may be up. Once they got to Aspen it had just begun to snow. It was so beautiful! They could not have asked for a better moment under those mountain peaks.
Wedding Inspiration
“We loved the rustic look and tried to bring as much as we could into a ballroom but still looked classy. We had old wooden window panes as the guest list, wood cupcake stand, and wood platter to hold the party favors. “Favorite Wedding Memory
“There was so many good memories, but I did love our ceremony and how we signed the marriage license in front of everyone on the back of the best man. There was just too many good memories and details! “
D.I.Y. Details
“We did our cupcake stand out of wood slices. It was fun to assemble them. But other wise we didn’t do to much DIY. “& a Word of Advice…
“Just roll with it. It’s one day, so don’t stress! It will be beautiful no matter what, so long as you have your soon to be spouse, family and friends – that’s all the truly matters. “
