David proposed to Barb in the middle of a drum circle on Siesta Keys Beach in front of over 500 people. He had pre-arranged with the administrator to have the drums stop so he could propose. Barb had no idea it was going to happen and was so happy she couldn’t even say the word yes and just nodded. They met on Match.com on February 11th 2016 and had their first date at Acapulco Restaurant on February 23.
Favorite Part of Wedding Planning
“Spending the time together shopping for all the extras for the reception decorations.”
Tear Jerking Story from their Wedding
“Barb’s daughter had eloped when she was married and did not have a reception. Before we had our first dance we invited them to the dance floor and had them dance their first dance. There was not a dry eye at the reception.”
Funny Story from their Wedding
“We had a guest come up to us and asked us who the child was that was taking photos. Our whole table started laughing when we informed him it was the photographer.”

“Our photographer Carmella was fantastic. She was very attentive and took a lot of the picture types that we requested. Her husband was our 2nd photographer and he did a great job adding to the photos.”

Why should you be chosen as the CP Couple of the Year?
“This is the 2nd wedding for both of us. We had both been married over 20 years and this is a new beginning for us. We both love to travel but have never been on a cruise before and would love to add that to our adventures.“

“In our first marriages, neither of us really traveled a lot. We have taken more vacations in the last 2 years then we did in our whole previous marriages. This would just be the icing on the cake to add to our lives.”
