Caryn and Drew met while Caryn was a waitress in a very small cafe. Drew was a regular. Caryn must add that a lot of her tips were from him.  He always left her large tips. (way to go, Drew!) The cafe was having a giveaway where you drop your name and number in a bowl and every week a winner was picked to receive a free meal. Well, Caryn decided to steal his card and send him a message. She says things took off from there!

The Proposal
Caryn and Drew were together for 4 years before Drew popped the question! At the time, the couple had an 18-month old son and a newborn daughter. Drew had their son bring the ring to Caryn. It sounds like it was PERFECT!

“Being surrounded by family and friends and having an amazing time. Making memories with eachother and our kids. Going with the flow, because even if something wasn’t perfect that’s your own unique story to share and laugh about later.”

D.I.Y. Details
“I tried to do as much DIY as possible. We did our whole ceremony seating and arch by ourselves. Where my husband works, they cleared a bunch of land so we used all the logs to create everything for the ceremony and it was my absolute favorite part of the entire wedding. We roasted our own pig and chickens, made all our own side dishes. My mom, aunt and myself made all of the center peices using lanterns and glass vases and burlap material. It made our whole day that much more special knowing we made alot of it.”

“Relax and take your time! Don’t stress too much, your day will be perfect no matter what.”
