Makayla and Colin entrusted Classic Photographers to capture their special day, opting for an extensive photography and videography package that included 8 hours of photography coverage, 4 hours of HD video coverage, a second photographer, and various edits and additions to create lasting mementos.

The day began at the Gheens Foundation Lodge, nestled in the picturesque Beckley Creek Parkway. As the sun bathed the lodge in a warm glow, Ty D arrived promptly at 11AM to commence photographing the pre-wedding preparations. Both the bride and groom wanted these moments immortalized, and Ty D didn’t miss a beat, capturing the laughter, excitement, and anticipation in the air.

The wedding ceremony commenced at the beautiful St. Patrick Catholic Church on N Beckley Station Rd. The timeless elegance of the church provided a breathtaking backdrop as Makayla and Colin exchanged their vows. With Ty D discreetly capturing every heartfelt moment, the couple’s special requests to capture the surprise transportation and the first glimpse of their wedding bands were fulfilled.

Following the ceremony, the celebration continued at the Gheens Foundation Lodge, the same location where the day began. The reception kicked off at 3PM, and the venue came alive with the sounds of laughter and music. The talented Classic Photographers team didn’t miss a beat, capturing every dance, toast, and heartfelt moment throughout the evening.

Among the many special requests made by the couple, Ty D skillfully photographed Makayla’s bouquet, accentuated by a meaningful cremation necklace. The couple also posed with an infinity sign and enchanting fairy lights, capturing their everlasting love and the magical atmosphere of the day. The group photos were taken at the half-circle bench outside the reception venue, where a beautiful tree and steps provided additional scenic backgrounds.

As the night drew to a close, Makayla and Colin had a private last dance, a cherished moment that they wanted to savor together. Classic Photographers ensured this intimate moment was beautifully captured, along with other unique aspects of the reception, such as the heavenly memorial and the on-site cotton candy station.
