Wedding of the Week: Kayla & Ryan
Kayla & Ryan 11-24-18
Kayla and Ryan met when they were 19 years young. They both worked at a small town Pizza Hut. She remembers telling their manager how cute she thought he was and how much she'd like to get to know him. Then one day he asked if him and some of his friends could come over to her apartment. She said yes and they've been together ever since!
The Proposal
Wedding Inspiration "Our wedding was in the fall and my favorite color is red and my wedding ring is rose gold. So we decided to go with rose gold and burgundy with blush and beige to accent."
Favorite Wedding Memory "It's hard to choose. All day from start to finish, was a great day. Waking up early, getting breakfast with my mother and sister and heading to the venue. Getting ready with all of my bridesmaids. Watching my husband arrive at the venue. Walking down the isle!! Taking photos with our lovely photographers! The food. The cake. Then finally dancing the night away with the people we love."
D.I.Y. Details "Everything at our wedding was diy. I spray painted and put glitter on wine bottles. I also found several cylinder vases and put twigs in them with water and floating candles. My aunt made our cake and cupcakes. My husband cooked all of our food(tacos!) and made the drinks(margaritas!)."
& a Word of Advice... "One thing about planning our wedding that I would go back and change is my time line for actually planning the wedding. Yes I did the whole pinterest thing. Our entire wedding was diy. Centerpieces, taco/margarita/candy bar and the cake too. I even found a wedding planning app called The Knot. It gave me day to day ideas on what I should get done when. I still found myself planning and doing things way out of order. I jumped the gun on a lot of things and ended up changing my mind just as much. Take your time planning the wedding. Don't cram yourself but also don't wait too long to get other things done either. "

"Don't forget to take a second and breathe it all in. After months and months of planning it all comes down to one day. One very special day that you will miss if you blink too hard. Everything happens so fast. Enjoy it!"
