Wedding of the Weekend: Meghan & Brett
Meghan & Brett
06.23.2017
Brett and Meghan met in college. They both played a sport at a D1 college and didn’t begin to talk until their sophomore year. Once Meghan and Brett finally began talking there was no turning back! The rest was history.
Brett proposed to Meghan on New Years Eve. He surprised Meghan when they were surrounded by the Christmas tree and family. Brett got down on one knee and popped the question. Meghan had no idea it was coming!! It was such a special moment that she says she will never forget.
We got to interview the couple and get some feedback about their special day!
Q: What were you inspired by while planning your wedding? (Theme, Color Combinations, Places?)
A: “With a summer wedding we had to go with summer colors. A soft yellow and grey really caught my eye when searching for colors and we completely fell in love with the combination!”Q: What were some of your favorite wedding day details/memories?
A: “Our favorite memories are the time spent with our loved ones. There is nothing better than celebrating love with your family and friends.”
Q: Did you have any D.I.Y. (aka Do It Yourself) details?
A: “I really wanted family involved so we had pictures of our parents and both sets of grandparents framed and set out during the reception. It really added a special touch.”Q: What advice would you give to future couples planning their wedding?
A: “Don’t stress over the small details when planning. You won’t even notice it on the big day!”
