Diana & Ryan

Diana and Ryan met while in high school in an environmental class.  Diana asked Ryan to borrow a pen so she could sign her pass to go to the bathroom and the rest is history!

Ryan actually asked Diana to marry him twice!  The first time he proposed, after 8 months of dating, he came all dressed up to Diana’s house and asked for her hand and while asking permission from her mom.  Diana’s ring was stolen after this proposal and one day, about 2 years after dating, Ryan and Diana went on their first vacation together.  While they were walking by a bridge Ryan asked Diana to marry him!!

We got to interview the couple and get some feedback about their special day!

Q: What were you inspired by while planning your wedding? (Theme, Color Combinations, Places?)

A: “The chapel where we got married because of the story behind the chapel as well as the barn where we had our party.”

Q: What were some of your favorite wedding day details/memories?
A: “Dancing with my mother and going to buy my dress because I had seen it in the window and loved it. For my husband I think it was seeing me walk in at the chapel.”

Q: What advice would you give to future couples planning their wedding?
A: “Do not stress about it everything will be great”

Q: Is there anything else you’d like to share about your big day?
A: “That I was happy even though my family was not there, only my mom and cousin. I was stressed but once the day came it was great and all went by fast.”
