Amelia & Samuel

Samuel asked Amelia to marry him at a family gathering for her son Devin’s birthday. It was really special because all of her boys were there, her daughter in law, both of Sam’s boys, and her Aunt Mercy who is like her 2nd mom. Amelia mom passed away January of 2017 and unfortunately never had the opportunity or pleasure of meeting Sam. After dinner they had cake and Sam was cutting and passing it out. Well, he was so nervous he placed the wedding band and in front of everyone asked Amelia to marry him. They met on Plenty of Fish, Amelia sent Sam a message saying Hello and he sent her his phone number saying to text or call he was closing the site. During one of their talks, he told her that something in him just told him to send his number, something he’s never done before. They met and talked over dinner and sat around a fire. Hitting it off right away, they would text or call almost every day. Sam drives a truck so they would see each other whenever his schedule would allow. Between them, we have 5 boys. Age ranges from 10 to 26.

Why should you be chosen as the CP Couple of the Year?
“Sam and I have both been married before but never had the feelings and love we have for each other. We have so much to look forward to in our lives, memories to make. We have worked hard our entire lives, though, our past didn’t work out it has made us who we are today and has shown us love. Love takes work, kindness, patience, and understanding. Love is all of this and more. Our fairytale is loving and having each other, to grow old together and having 5 amazing sons.“
